Reggie's Place | Waterfront Restaurant in Morro Bay

Reggie’s Place occupies 480 square feet at the southern end of the wharf, where the harborwalk widens into the pocket park.

The room is small on purpose. Cedar board-and-batten walls, a vaulted ceiling open to Douglas fir rafters, wide-plank floors, and a compact bar along one side. A gold band runs the ceiling edge, echoing the painted eave trim on the building outside.

The stained-glass panels are the room’s signature — sailboats, kelp, waves and the Rock, worked in blues, greens and golds. On a bright afternoon they throw colour right across the floor.

Glazing on the water side slides fully open onto the terrace, so on fine days the room effectively doubles into the pocket park with the bay a few feet beyond.

The food

Morro Bay still lands its own fish and farms its own oysters, and the kitchen is being built around that. Menus will follow closer to opening — we would rather publish nothing than publish something we cannot honour.

How big is Reggie's Place?

480 square feet — roughly 20 by 24 feet, seating about six tables plus a small bar. It is deliberately intimate rather than a full-scale hotel restaurant.

Is Reggie's Place open to the public?

Yes. Like the harborwalk and observation deck, the restaurant is intended to serve the town as well as hotel guests. It is not open yet — the property is still in construction.

Will there be outdoor dining?

Yes. The restaurant opens onto the pocket park, a landscaped terrace on the harborwalk with the bay a few feet away.
