Bayside Landing is not open yet. The project is approved and heading into construction — an opening date will be announced here once the build schedule is confirmed.
The most accessible of the seven, opening at grade onto the pocket park and the harborwalk, with the riprap tidepools directly below.
The Tidepool Room sits where the wharf meets the shore, so its deck opens level onto the new pocket park and the public harborwalk — no stairs between you and the boardwalk, the observation deck or Reggie's Place.
Below the deck, the granite riprap holds shallow pools that fill and drain with the tide. At low water they are worth a proper look: purple urchins, anemones, and green algae in the deeper cracks.
Inside, slate blue-gray and cedar walls sit under a vaulted Douglas fir ceiling, with a deep magenta eave band matching the cottage's exterior trim.
